WHICH TYPES OF LICENCES CAN TEC EUROLAB CERTIFICATION BODY ISSUE?
As a Certification Body recognised by the Italian Accreditation Body (ACCREDIA) for the certification of personnel in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024, TEC Eurolab organises the examination sessions necessary to obtain the qualification (licence) of welders, brazers and welding operators, on metal and polyethylene materials.

METAL WELDERS (9606)
The qualification of welders takes place with reference to a fully specified welding procedure (WPS) according to UNI EN ISO 15609.
MANUAL WELDER’S LICENCE – UNI EN ISO 9606
The purpose of the welder’s qualification (licence) is to verify the operator’s skill and/or manual dexterity and therefore to qualify him , according to the fields of validity envisaged by the standard to which reference has been made. TEC Eurolab Certification Body aligns itself with the requirements envisaged by the standard and offers certifications and welding licences according to the UNI EN ISO 9606 standards.
WELDING OPERATOR LICENCE – UNI EN ISO 14732
The Welding Operator is a person who performs automatic, fully mechanised or robotic welding. The operator must be able to operate independently within the automated area, be able to load the production joints correctly and position them correctly using the available equipment. The welding operator is not required to be familiar with robot programming.
PLASTICS WELDERS (9737-13067)
The qualification of plastic welders takes place according to standard UNI 9737:2021. This standard clarifies and integrates the minimum requirements of UNI EN 13067:2021 for the qualification of personnel involved in the welding of components (e.g. pipes and fittings) of polyethylene and polypropylene, for the conveyance of combustible gases, water and other pressurised fluids using the thermal element contact and electrofusion processes.
BRAZING WELDERS
The purpose of the brazer‘s qualification is to verify the operator’s skill and or manual dexterity and therefore to qualify him, according to the fields of validity provided for by the UNI EN ISO 13585 standard to which reference is made.
The brazer must be able to perform joints following the instructions given by the company’s BPS (brazing technical procedure).
