Corporate Social Responsibility

At SIDEIUS and in all of the group’s business units, we integrate ESG principles into our daily decision-making processes. We work to generate shared value: we engage in continuous mitigation of our environmental impact and promote concrete initiatives to support the local social fabric and employees.

Environment

Energy Efficiency

Starting in 2023, SIDEIUS installed photovoltaic systems that currently serve all three of its company locations and have a total active power output of 239.04 kW. In 2025, the systems covered 24% of our energy consumption, allowing us to avoid emissions of 59.38 tCO2eq. Between late 2025 and early 2026, construction began on an additional photovoltaic system that will enable the construction of a covered parking lot for employees.

Water dispensers and thermal flasks

Starting in May 2023, we installed purified water dispensers at our offices and provided all employees with a personalized insulated water bottle so that everyone can help reduce plastic consumption. Considering that each employee drinks at least the equivalent of 0.5L of water per day, by 2025 we will have prevented the use of 27,500 plastic bottles.

Waste Management

In 2025, SIDEIUS tackled the implementation of RENTRI by launching an operational review focused on digitization and the quality of environmental data. As a result, procedures were standardized across all locations, waste classification was improved, temporary storage was reorganized by standardizing packaging and signage, and the management of inventory and material flows was streamlined.

Supporting local suppliers

To reduce the environmental impact of transporting purchased goods and to support local businesses, Sideius sources from local suppliers whenever possible. In 2025, 14% of purchases were made from suppliers located in the same municipality where the company operates, while 44% came from suppliers located within a 100-kilometer radius of the company.

Social

Attention to the well-being of employees

To work well you need to be well. SIDEIUS pays special attention to the working well-being of employees and supports it through a model of flexible working hours, smart working policies, corporate welfare initiatives, performance bonuses, training courses and team building events. For us, investing in people means creating the conditions for everyone to express their potential.

Gender equality

We strive for women and men in SIDEIUS to feel equally at the center of the enterprise. In addition to achieving equal pay, we adopt work-life balance policies and organizational flexibility tools to ensure fair, inclusive and development-oriented working conditions for all. In 2025, to formalize our commitment, we obtained the UNI PdR 125 Gender Equality Certification.

Educational internships

Every year, we are committed to offering internship opportunities and PCTO programs (Programs for Transversal Skills and Career Guidance) that facilitate students’ integration into real-world work environments, allowing them to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired during their high school and college studies. In 2025, we organized 26 internships. As a testament to our ongoing commitment, we received the “Bollini per l’Alternanza di Qualità” and “Imprese in ITS” awards from Confindustria for the third consecutive year.

Support for sports, social and cultural activities

We give support to various amateur, sports, social and cultural associations for young people and others, with the aim of actively contributing to the growth and well-being of our community. Our commitment takes the form of supporting sports organizations, such as the Polisportiva di Campogalliano, the Sport More team and the A1 series of Modena Volleyball, and cultural and social associations, such as The City of the Second Renaissance, the Association for Corporate Social Responsibility, AIL, the Libra Museum and ITS Maker.

Governance

Legality Rating

The Legality Rating is a biennial recognition awarded by the Italian Competition and Market Authority (AGCM). Measured on a star scale (from 1 to 3), its goal is to promote the adoption of ethical principles in corporate conduct, as well as transparency and social responsibility. In 2025, we renewed our rating, earning 2 stars ++

Model 231

We adopt Model 231 to ensure ethical practices and responsible management guidelines for all stakeholders. The model contributes to the dissemination of culture and prevention within the company, paying particular attention to concreteness and seeking integration into our Quality system.

Research and development

At SIDEIUS, our commitment to Research and Development is one of the cornerstones of our growth and innovation strategy. Investing in R&D allows us to maintain continuous technological innovation so that we can consistently provide cutting-edge solutions to our customers. In 2025, we allocated €1,752,356 to research and development activities, investing in projects, expertise, and technology.
