Certification of welding personnel
As a Certification Body accredited by the Italian Accreditation Body (ACCREDIA) for the certification of personnel in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024, Valor, Certification Body of Sideius, organizes the examination sessions necessary to obtain the qualification (license) of welders, brazers and welding operators, on metallic and polyethylene materials.

Metal materials welders license - UNI EN ISO 15609
Welders are qualified by reference to a fully specified welding procedure (WPS) according to UNI EN ISO 15609.
Manual welder's license UNI EN ISO 9606
The purpose of the welder’s qualification(license) is to verify the operator’s skill and/or manual dexterity and to qualify him or her accordingly, according to the ranges of validity provided by the standard referred to.
The Valor certification body aligns with the requirements of the standard and offers certification andattainment of welding licenses according to the UNI EN ISO 9606 series of standards.
Welding Operator's License - UNI EN ISO 14732
L’Welding Operator is a person who performs automatic, fully mechanized or robotic welding. The operator must be able to maneuver independently within the automated area, be able to properly load production joints and position them correctly using the available equipment. It is not required that the welding operator be familiar with robot programming.
Plastics welders license UNI 9737:2021 - UNI EN 13067:2021
The qualification of plastic welders is done according to UNI 9737:2021.
This standard clarifies and complements the minimum requirements ofUNI EN 13067:2021 for the qualification of personnel involved in the welding of components (e.g., pipes and fittings) of polyethylene and polypropylene, for the conveyance of combustible gases, water and other pressurized fluids using thermal element contact and electrofusion processes.
Brazer license
The purpose of the brazer ‘s qualification is to verify theskill and or manual dexterity of the operator and to qualify him or her accordingly, according to the fields of validity provided by the UNI EN ISO 13585 standard to which reference is made.
The brazer must be able to perform joints following the instructions given by the company’s BPS (brazing technical procedure).

At the TEC Eurolab Certification Body it is possible to obtain qualification for instructor personnel in courses for the qualification of plastic welders, according to the UNI 9737:2016 standard.
