      STATIC AND DYNAMIC MECHANICAL TESTING OF METALLIC AND POLYMERIC MATERIALS

      Wide range of machinery for static and dynamic mechanical testing, including non-hot contact extensometry, for characterization of metallic and polymeric materials according to the main ISO/ASTM standards.

      METAL ALLOYS AND PRINTING AM

      PRODUCT VALIDATION DIVISION

      The area of TEC Eurolab that is concerned with verifying a product’s performance in terms of reliability over time, functionality, safety, compliance with specific product standards, and conformity of dimensions to a drawing or design.

      FUNCTIONAL AND CUSTOM TESTING

      Study, design and implementation of specific test systems to simulate the real operating and usage conditions of the component in order to assess its reliability and verify its performance.

      Main equipment used and services

      • Pressure test benches: burst test, leak test, pulsating pressure test (Up to 35bar in air, 600bar in oil and at different temperatures, from -70°C to +180°C)
      • Custom test rings for both static and dynamic functional tests with pneumatic actuators equipped with different load cells (Applicable force from a few Newtons up to 18 kN) and multi-channel controller up to 4 axes simultaneously.
      • Electromechanical systems for both static and dynamic functional testing, high-speed pulling and compression. Tests executable in climatic chamber from -40°C to +180°C
      • Drop tower for impact resistance testing (on components and connectors)
      • Using Strain Gages for monitoring local stresses and strains

      DIMENSIONAL INSPECTIONS AND STATISTICAL PROCESS ANALYSIS (SPC)
