TEC Eurolab completes the transition to the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 standard

09/04/2019

TEC Eurolab is officially ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 (UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018), thus completing the transition to the new standard 6 months after the entry into force of the revision of the RT-08 regulation.

The transition to the new edition of the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 standard is confirmed, and TEC Eurolab is among one of the first Italian laboratories to have completed this important transition, with the aim of maintaining and constantly improving the quality standards in internal processes and in the service to its customers.

The inspectors/examiners expressed their satisfaction with the high level of competence and quality of the Laboratory and the improvement observed in comparison with previous years.

TEC Eurolab Quality Manager Paola Marconi explains "The completion of the transition to the new 2017 edition of the ISO / IEC 17025 standard, just 6 months after the entry into force of the revision of the RT-08 Regulation and acceptance by Accredia of applications for accreditation under the new standard, was a very significant goal for our Test Laboratory. It confirms its capacity, commitment and competence, and which few other Laboratories in Italy, to date, can share. Behind the speed and effectiveness of this transition process, there is all the dedication and professionalism of our technical staff, but also a laboratory management system already built and consolidated according to the requirements of the most rigid international quality standards.  Above all thanks to the accreditations, certifications and qualifications obtained in recent years by TEC Eurolab in the aerospace field. The already high level of quality of our Laboratory has allowed us to keep the gap for adaptation to the new standard limited and therefore succeed in achieving the goal of transition in the times we set ourselves".
