“TEC Eurolab industrial computed tomography center, integrated within the laboratory’s multidisciplinary structure, provides you with a range of applications unique in Europe. micrometric resolution and extreme thickness analysis are made possible by our new linear accelerator, which is 10 times more powerful than any other ct system in italy. in order to guarantee your future performances, our team of experts is at your complete disposal: materials engineers, mechanical engineers, welding engineers, physicists and chemists all specialized in materials and testing processes. we make you feel sure.”
The newly available DIONDO D7 6 MEV LINAC Computed Tomography system has been developed for the reliable analysis of objects that are difficult to penetrate due to their high density or thickness.

Beside power, long focal distance and small detector pixel pitch allow to reach optimal resolutions limiting geometric magnification and therefore avoiding unsharpness.

Complete engine blocks, inconel turbine blades and large additive components can be properly analyzed with this new system, 10 times more powerful than any other CT system in Italy and almost unique in the worldwide service market.

Computerized industrial tomography

New products’ time to market is continuously contracting, while reliability and performance requirements are tightened by global competition. Materials and production processes are constantly evolving together with technologies and skills needed for their

Material testing and production processes qualification, critical for products success across several industries, demands specific investments and skills which not always can be promptly and profitably internalized by manufacturing Companies. On the other hand, relying on multiple external suppliers involves increased complexity of the responsibility matrix and the risk of losing the overall picture.
Computerized industrial tomography

Since 1990, we provide all the support you need in a single Lab: metallurgy and failure analysis, mechanical testing and reliability, chemical analysis, non-destructive testing, metrology, inspection, training and certification; always with top expertise and cuttingedge technology. 90 people fully committed to a single goal: assuring that materials, processes and products stand up to the expected performances.

This is the framework in which also Computed Tomography has been introduced.
Computerized industrial tomography (Industrial CT X-Ray scan) is an advanced non-destructive testing method. This technology allows for 3D virtual images to be captured of the analyzed component, along with all its defects and internal and external geometry, with micrometric definition and precision. RX tomography is the natural evolution of radioscopy and digital radiography. This evolution is thus the capturing of the three dimensions of the analyzed object, instead of a simple 2D image of radiographic projections. The 3D volume, which is calibrated dimensionally, makes it possible to not only analyze and measure qualitatively, but also quantitatively. In particular, having a three dimensional image of the component, it is possible to virtually scan over any section and analyze internal details of a defect or its dimensional characteristics.
