Damage of rubber water bag
Damage of rubber water bag
By
customer demand
,
we went
to investigate
the causes
of
the rupture and
degradation
of the
water rubber bag.
The bag
was subjected to
comments and
inquiries
focused
on the areas
of
explosive
loss
of
liquid
.
These analyzes were
performed
using
microscopes
and SEM and
directed the
subsequent
physical
and chemical analysis
along a
defined
path
of investigation
.
The
constituent material
is subjected to
an in-depth
characterization,
centered on
analysis
by spectrophotometry
(FT-
IR) and
thermal analysis
(
DSC).
By these investigation on this water bag
,
clear
evidence
emerged
that indicated
that
damage's phenomenon
is attributable
to a deterioration
of the rubber
due to the
way in which
water
is heated
.
This mechanism
resulted
in fact
the transfer
to the bath
and then
to the rubber, of
metal particles
incompatible
with the material
of the bag
