Analysis through XRD (x-ray diffraction)

XRD (X-Ray Diffraction)

The analysis of a X-ray diffraction spectrum of (XRD), while not providing direct information on the chemical composition of a sample, allows to define and quantify the crystalline phases present in any material in the first 20 microns in surface.

APPLICATION FIELD:

• ANALYSIS OF POWDERS
• RESIDUAL AUSTENITE (STANDARD ASTM E975-03)

Minimum Sensitivity: 0,5-1% by weight concentration.
Quantitative extremely accurate.

Maximum sample size 5cm x 5cm x 4cm h (both solids and powders), it is difficult to perform analysis on curved samples.

It is good that this test is accompanied by microanalysis.
