Accelerated aging: Go forward in Time in materials testing


Do you want to know what could happens to your product under the sunshine or pouring rain after a couple of months or years, but you don’t have all this time available? Would you like to know this in few days?
TEC Eurolab, as part of the accelerated aging test in laboratory that verify the performance of materials and coatings, continues to update their equipment to always provide high quality and reliability results in tests, and does it by acquiring two new test equipment for accelerated aging by exposure to UV and Xenon tester for testing the stability to light and weather resistance.
Accelerated weathering tester verifies damage from sunlight, rain and dew. In a few days of exposure machine reproduces the problems that occur in the months and years outside subjecting the samples (polymeric materials, plastics and coatings such as paints) to alternating cycles of light and moisture.
Xenon Test Chamber faithfully reproduces the full spectrum of sunlight while the spray of water that is attached and relative humidity control simulate the effects of damp and rain. The intensity of the emitted radiation can be adjusted so as to reproduce for the 24 hours of the day, the effects of sunlight at noon resulting in an acceleration effect of aging.

With these new devices TEC Eurolab, in support to their customers, is now able to carry out tests in accordance with:
